Terms of Service
Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Nationwide Solar & Roofing. By visiting our website, requesting a virtual appointment, submitting your information, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully, as they describe the conditions under which we provide solar evaluations, savings assessments, appointment scheduling, and project coordination.
Our goal is to provide homeowners with easy, transparent access to solar information and professional installation partners. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should discontinue use of our website and services.
Services Provided by Nationwide Solar & Roofing
Nationwide Solar & Roofing provides virtual solar evaluations, preliminary system designs, savings estimates, and educational resources to help homeowners understand the benefits of switching to solar. Our services include reviewing your utility information, analyzing your property for solar suitability, preparing a customized savings proposal, and coordinating next steps with trusted partners when applicable.
Virtual Appointments & Solar Assessments
Our virtual appointments are designed to give homeowners a clear and accurate understanding of their potential savings, available incentives, and system layout. These assessments are based on the information you provide, public utility rates, satellite imagery, software modeling, and data from verified industry sources. All savings estimates are projections and may vary depending on usage habits, changes in utility rates, property conditions, or third-party factors.
Project Coordination With Trusted Partners
Nationwide Solar & Roofing does not install solar systems directly. When you choose to move forward, we coordinate with Initiative Energy Group (our master dealer partner) and Freedom Forever (our installation partner) to complete necessary design steps, site assessments, permitting, and installation. Each partner operates under its own terms, conditions, and approval processes.
No Obligation to Purchase
Requesting a proposal, participating in a virtual appointment, or submitting your information does not create any obligation to purchase a solar system. You may discontinue the process at any time without penalty.
Accuracy of Information You Provide
Our ability to provide accurate estimates depends on the quality and accuracy of the information you submit. You agree that any utility data, property details, or documents you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in revised proposals or changes in system eligibility.
No Guarantee of Approval or Savings
Solar Eligibility Is Not Guaranteed
Solar eligibility depends on many factors, including roof condition, shading, structural considerations, local regulations, financing approval, and installation partner requirements. Nationwide Solar & Roofing cannot guarantee that every homeowner will be approved for solar installation, financing, or permitting.
Eligibility decisions are ultimately made by our installation partner (Freedom Forever), lending partners, and local permitting authorities—not by Nationwide Solar & Roofing.
Savings Estimates Are Projections Only
All savings projections, utility comparisons, and long-term estimates are based on available data at the time they are presented. Actual savings may vary due to:
-
Future changes in utility rates
-
Variations in your household energy use
-
Weather conditions
-
System performance
-
Financing terms
-
Maintenance issues
-
Grid service charges or policy changes
While we use industry-standard tools and verified data sources, Nationwide Solar & Roofing does not guarantee specific savings amounts or financial outcomes.
No Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice
Information provided during virtual appointments, proposals, or on our website is for general educational purposes only. Nationwide Solar & Roofing does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. Incentives, rebates, and tax credits are subject to change, eligibility requirements, and government regulations outside our control.
Homeowners should consult a qualified tax professional for personalized guidance.
System Design and Specifications May Change
All system designs, panel layouts, equipment lists, and projections are considered preliminary until validated by a professional site assessment, engineering review, and installation partner approval. Adjustments may be required based on actual roof conditions, shading, or permitting restrictions.
Appointment Requirements & Customer Responsibilities
Both Decision-Makers Must Be Present
To ensure accurate information, prevent miscommunication, and finalize system recommendations, Nationwide Solar & Roofing requires that all homeowners or decision-makers be present during the scheduled virtual appointment. This allows us to answer questions, review system options, discuss financing or incentives, and ensure everyone involved has the same understanding of the proposal.
If a required party is unavailable, the appointment will need to be rescheduled.
Providing Accurate Information
Homeowners are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the solar evaluation process. This includes:
-
Correct property address
-
Utility provider details
-
Recent energy usage
-
Information about upcoming home improvements (roof replacement, additions, etc.)
-
Any shading concerns or structural updates
Inaccurate or incomplete information may result in revised proposals, appointment delays, or disqualification from installation approval.
Submitting a Copy of Your Utility Bill
For the most accurate proposal, Nationwide Solar & Roofing will request a photo or PDF copy of your recent electric bill. Providing this information promptly ensures we can model usage correctly, identify peak charges, and prepare your savings estimate without delays.
You can submit your bill before or during your appointment, but earlier submission improves accuracy.
Technology Requirements for Virtual Appointments
Virtual appointments require a stable internet connection and a device capable of video conferencing (phone, tablet, or computer). Homeowners are responsible for ensuring their device and connection are working properly at the time of the appointment.
If technical issues prevent the appointment from taking place, it may be rescheduled.
Respectful and Honest Communication
All customers agree to communicate respectfully and honestly with our team. We strive to provide transparent, friendly assistance throughout the solar process and expect the same in return.
Third-Party Partners & Installers
Role of Our Dealer and Installation Partners
Nationwide Solar & Roofing works with trusted third-party partners to deliver complete solar solutions. This includes Initiative Energy Group as our master dealer partner and Freedom Forever as our primary solar installation partner. These companies assist with system design, engineering, permitting, installation, and ongoing service, where applicable.
Independent Companies With Their Own Terms
Initiative Energy Group, Freedom Forever, and any financing providers are independent companies, not owned or controlled by Nationwide Solar & Roofing. Each partner operates under its own contracts, approval guidelines, warranties, and terms of service. Any agreement you sign with a third-party company will be a separate, legally binding contract between you and that company.
No Responsibility for Third-Party Decisions or Actions
Nationwide Solar & Roofing is not responsible for third-party credit decisions, underwriting outcomes, installation timelines, workmanship warranties, permitting approvals, inspection delays, or changes in partner policies. While we make every effort to work only with reputable organizations, we cannot control or guarantee their actions or decisions.
Your Responsibility to Review All Documents
Before signing any agreement with an installer, dealer, or financing company, you agree to carefully review all terms, warranties, payment schedules, and obligations. If you have questions about legal, tax, or financial language in these documents, you should consult a qualified professional before moving forward.
Limitations of Liability
No Guarantees of Savings, System Output, or Approval
While solar energy can significantly reduce electricity costs, Nationwide Solar & Roofing does not guarantee any specific level of savings, system performance, utility rate outcome, approval decision, or financial result. Actual results vary based on utility rates, weather patterns, shading, consumption habits, financing terms, and other factors outside of our control.
Not Liable for Third-Party Errors, Delays, or Service Issues
Nationwide Solar & Roofing is not responsible or liable for any act, omission, delay, error, workmanship issue, scheduling change, or service interruption caused by independent companies, including installers (such as Freedom Forever), master dealers (such as Initiative Energy Group), financiers, permit offices, independent inspectors, or utility companies. All installation and warranty obligations belong solely to the company named in the agreement you sign.
No Liability for Website Errors, Inaccuracies, or Technical Issues
Although we strive for complete accuracy, the information on this website may occasionally contain errors or become outdated. Nationwide Solar & Roofing is not liable for typographical errors, data inaccuracies, technical malfunctions, appointment scheduling errors, or temporary website outages. We reserve the right to modify content at any time without notice.
No Liability for Changes to Government Programs or Incentives
Federal, state, and local incentives—including tax credits, rebates, and SREC programs—are subject to change at any time by government authorities. Nationwide Solar & Roofing is not responsible for changes to eligibility criteria, incentive amounts, deadlines, approval requirements, or program cancellations.
Maximum Liability Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nationwide Solar & Roofing’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the use of our website, communication, or pre-installation services shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). This limitation applies regardless of the type of claim, whether in contract, tort, negligence, or any other legal theory.
User Assumption of Risk
By using this website or requesting pre-installation assistance, you acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily and at your own risk. You agree that Nationwide Solar & Roofing is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or any actions taken based on information provided.
Agreement to Resolve Disputes Through Binding Arbitration
By using our website or communicating with Nationwide Solar & Roofing, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to your use of the site, our communications, or any pre-installation information provided to you shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration, rather than in court. This includes disputes related to representations made during consultations, website content, savings estimates, or any services performed before you sign an installation agreement with a third-party installer.
Arbitration Rules & Governing Law
Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The laws of the state in which the property is located will govern any dispute. The arbitrator, not any court, has exclusive authority to resolve all issues relating to interpretation, enforceability, or scope of this arbitration agreement.
Waiver of Class Actions & Jury Trials
You and Nationwide Solar & Roofing agree to waive the right to a jury trial, and you also waive participation in any class action, consolidated action, or representative action. All disputes must be brought individually, and the arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of class-wide proceeding.
Informal Resolution Requirement
Before filing for arbitration, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. This process begins when one party submits written notice describing the issue in detail. If a resolution is not reached after 30 days, either party may proceed with arbitration.
Exceptions — When Court Action Is Permitted
Either party may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies under local rules. Additionally, Nationwide Solar & Roofing may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to prevent unauthorized use, copying, or misuse of intellectual property or confidential information.
Severability
If any part of this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. This agreement survives the termination of your use of the website or any communication between you and Nationwide Solar & Roofing.
Your Acceptance of the Arbitration Agreement
By using this website, scheduling a virtual appointment, communicating with us, or submitting information through our site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this arbitration and dispute resolution section.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the state in which the serviced property is located, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any claim or dispute that is exempt from arbitration under Section 7 shall be brought exclusively in a state or federal court with proper jurisdiction in that same state. By using this website, you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of these courts.
